Established in Summer 2025, Tobacco Road Pickleball is now heading into its fourth season of competitive league play across the Triangle. In a short time, TRP has continued to build a strong local community by offering organized, locally-driven leagues with meaningful DUPR competition for players of all levels.

For Anthony Gomes and his team, that experience stood out this past season.

“We had a wonderful time this season and really enjoyed playing together,” said Gomes. “We appreciate having the opportunity to play competitive DUPR matches and being part of a league that’s helping grow the pickleball community in the Triangle area.”
